Rain has cancelled tonight's Bananas-Visitors game. Youth camp championship also cancelled.
Sunday's Bananas vs. Visitors game (the make-up from Thursday) is still on.
A heavy downpour has hit Savannah. The Banana Ball brass has cancelled tonight’s game between The Savannah Bananas and The Visitors.
In addition, we have been made aware that the previously planned championship game related to the Banana Ball youth camp has been cancelled. This was due to the complications related to the numerous rain storms throughout the past week in the area. There will be a special send-off party for the kids at Grayson on Sunday morning. Michi-chan Sports supports this youth program along with others such as the Derby Brats/JRDA programs for youth roller derby. I am sure that all of the kids are going home with some great memories. The Thursday makeup game for Bananas vs. Visitors will be played Sunday night at 7PM EDT at Grayson.
